Create a free account, choose the type of announcement, answer a few quick questions and we build a first draft for you. You then add or change events, choose a package, fill in the details, preview the page and publish.

Events are the main parts of the occasion — for example a memorial service, the funeral and the burial — each with its own date, time and venue. Updates are short news items along the way, such as "Programme confirmed" or "Thank you for your support". Your package sets how many Events you can add; Updates are unlimited.

Yes. On the Preview step you can choose one of eight header photos for your announcement type and a colour scheme. Uploading your own header photo is coming soon.

Event Items are the main parts of your occasion, each with its own date, time and venue — for example the memorial service, the funeral and the burial, or the ceremony and the reception. Each one gets its own card on your page with its venue details. Your package sets how many you can add — the pricing cards show how many each one includes. Updates, the short news posts along the way, are not Event Items and are unlimited.

Photos you upload to the Gallery on your announcement page — family photos, the venue, the invitation or programme — for visitors to look through. Your package sets how many photos the gallery can hold. Your main profile photo and the header photo are always included and do not count towards it.

Your page stays live for the number of months in your package, counted from the day you publish — 6, 12 or 24 months. You pay once for that whole period; it is not a monthly subscription. During that time you can keep editing the page, adding updates and notifying followers.

Credits are used to send updates and notifications to the people following your announcement — for example when a venue or time changes, or when you post an update. Each package includes a number of credits. How many credits a notification uses depends on the channel it is sent through, so a package with more credits lets you keep a bigger group informed for longer.

No. Every package includes unlimited followers — anyone with a free account can follow your announcement to stay up to date, however many people that is. Notifications to followers use Notification Credits.

No. Every package includes unlimited page views, so you can share the link and QR code as widely as you like — on WhatsApp, social media, printed programmes or posters — without paying more when lots of people visit.

Creating a draft is free. To publish you choose a package; each one shows its price, how many Events and photos it includes and how long the page stays live. See Pricing on the home page.

Securely through PayFast — by card, Instant EFT, SnapScan and other options PayFast offers. You are taken to PayFast to pay, and we never see your card details. Your page can be published as soon as the payment is confirmed.

If your announcement has not been published yet, you can cancel within 7 days for a full refund. Once a page is live the service has started, so it is not refundable except where the law says otherwise. Our Refund Policy has the details.

Anyone you share the link or QR code with, depending on the privacy setting you choose in Details. Drafts are only visible to you.

Yes — dates, venues, events and updates can be changed at any time from your dashboard, and the page updates straight away for everyone with the link.

People with a free account can follow an announcement to be kept up to date about it. They can unfollow at any time.
