Wedding announcement example

150 guests. One wedding.
One link they all need.

The story of Emma & James — and how one page replaced the group chat, the paper trail and forty "what's the dress code?" messages.

Emma and James Wedding

Emma & James are getting married

Premium package · 6 events · livestream · gallery

From "she said yes" to the farewell brunch: the engagement party, kitchen tea, ceremony, cocktails and reception at Avianto in Muldersdrift — with the dress code, directions, where to stay, RSVPs and a livestream for family abroad.

The story behind the example

Valentine's Day. She said yes.

James had carried the ring around for three weeks. On a beach at sunset, he finally asked — and Emma said yes before he finished the question. Within minutes, the ring photo was on Instagram, the family WhatsApp group exploded, and 200 people knew.

Then came the planning: a date, a venue — Avianto in Muldersdrift — a kitchen tea, a reception, 150 guests from Johannesburg, Cape Town and London. And with every decision, the same questions started arriving. Again. And again.

Everyone is invited. Everyone has a question.

A wedding has more audiences than you think — and each of them needs something different, at a different time.

The bridal party

“When is the kitchen tea? What time must we be at Avianto?”

Family in London

“Can we watch the ceremony? What time is that for us?”

Gran and the older aunts

“They're not on Instagram — someone has to tell them everything.”

Every guest, ever

“What's the dress code? Is it on grass? Can I wear heels?”

Guests from out of town

“Where is Muldersdrift? Where do we stay? Is there a shuttle?”

Plus-ones

“They don't know anyone — or the venue, or the time.”

Photographer, DJ & florist

“Exact times, the running order and who to call on the day.”

Gift givers

“Is there a registry? Where do we send it?”

Two ways to plan the big day

Same couple, same guests, same venue. The difference is where the details live.

The old way

Paper invites, group chats and voice notes

  1. The group chat: a 150-person WhatsApp group where the venue address is buried under 400 messages of emojis and "congrats!!".
  2. Paper invites: printed in June. In October the ceremony moves from 14:00 to 15:00 — the cards are now wrong forever.
  3. The questions: Emma answers "what's the dress code?" forty times, and "can I bring someone?" thirty.
  4. The drive: guests type "Avianto" into their maps on the day, get lost in Muldersdrift and arrive during the vows.
  5. Overseas: the London family find out about the livestream from a cousin's story — after the ceremony.
  6. Gran: isn't on social media, so she hears every update a week late, second-hand.
  7. RSVPs: scattered across DMs, texts and phone calls, then copied into a spreadsheet at midnight.

With 43xEvents

One page, one link, one QR code

  1. One page: Emma creates the announcement — the engagement party, kitchen tea, ceremony, cocktails, reception and brunch, each with its own time and place.
  2. A QR code on the invitation: the paper card never goes out of date, because it points to the page.
  3. Answers on the page: dress code, "the ceremony is on grass", adults-only reception, shuttles and RSVP date — written once.
  4. Directions: every event has the address, a map button and parking notes for Avianto.
  5. Overseas: the London family tap "Watch live" on the ceremony, with the time difference spelled out.
  6. Gran: gets the link once, and follows the page — every update reaches her the same day.
  7. The memories: the proposal, the ring and the engagement party live in the updates and gallery, for everyone.

What every guest receives

A message on WhatsApp — or a QR code on the invitation card — that opens the page. Everything a guest needs, in the right order, always up to date.

  • Every event: kitchen tea, ceremony, cocktails, reception, brunch
  • Directions to Avianto, parking and on-site rooms
  • Dress code, RSVP date and shuttle times
  • "Watch live" for family who can't travel
  • The proposal story, the ring and a gallery

About "Watch live"

In a real announcement, the Watch live button opens the couple's livestream — YouTube, Facebook Live, Zoom or any other link — with their instructions and time zone underneath. In this example there's no real wedding, so it brings you here.

Spend the year planning your day — not answering questions.
